Terms of Use

Simple terms
for a simple app

PythonForge is licensed, not sold. These terms cover what you may do with the app and what we are responsible for. By using PythonForge you agree to them.

Version 1.0 Effective October 15, 2026

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use PythonForge on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Your code is yours

You keep all rights to the scripts, notebooks, databases and other files you create in the app. We claim no licence to them, and we never receive a copy.

3. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the app to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.
  • Do not redistribute the app or its bundled Python runtime and packages as a separate product.
  • Third-party packages you install are governed by their own licences; check them before you ship code that depends on them.

4. No warranty

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for testing your code before relying on it.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits arising from use of the app. Keep your own backups of anything important.

6. Purchases

PythonForge 1.0 is free and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If that changes in a future version, the change will be described in the App Store listing before you buy anything.

7. Changes

We may update these terms with future versions of the app. The current version will always be published on this page.
